könnt ihr bitte schauen ob ich den folgenden Text laut Aufgabenstellung richtig gemacht habe?
Und übahaupt, ist sind die zeiten so richtig?
(ich bin mit diesem Thema noch nich vertraut :S)

Put the verbs in brackets in the right tense,
Use the passive when necessary.
Ireland (colonize and opress) by the english for a long time when (make) part of the United Kingdom in 1801.
- Ireland had been colinzed and oppressed by the.... when it had made
Most of the Irish were small farmers who lived on land which (belong) to English people.
- ..which belongs to..
The farmers workes for the owners in order to pay their rent; they used their small piece of irland to grow potatoes, the crop they (live) on.
-..the crop they had lived on
Then in 1845 the potato crop (destroy) by disease- and again in 1846!
Irish families (have) nothing to eat.
-..crop had been destroyed.. - --families had nothing..
Many soon owed rent, and thousands (throw) out of their homes.

How ever, a few things (do).

- Corn (sell) cheaply, and work projects (organize) to create jobs.
- had been selt..

- was sold.....were organized ( könnte auch gegenwart sein > weiß ich nicht da kein text....)
